A note from the founder

Concord exists because communities deserve trust, safety, privacy, and more built in.

I built this from first-hand experience running and supporting real online communities at scale.

Trent HFounder, Concord

I built Concord because I have lived this problem from the inside. I spent years building and moderating Discord and Reddit communities, and shipping tooling used across 100,000+ Discord servers. I have handled moderation incidents, trust breakdowns, privacy concerns, poor support, burnout, and the constant patchwork of bots and docs just to keep things running.

I have seen how fragile online communities are, and how quickly trust erodes when privacy is ignored and people are treated like metrics. Social systems are real systems: identity, belonging, shared history, incentives, power dynamics, connection, safety, and trust.

People are not metrics. They are the whole thing. If they lose trust, everything collapses. That is why Concord is built with privacy, trust, and safety as foundations, not afterthoughts, and why we move fast on feedback.
